How This Role Works:

* Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"):
You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

* Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:
In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

* Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and documenting entry and exit activity at the location.

* Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observed concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

* Monitor entrances, gates, loading areas, and/or other controlled points to help to deter unauthorized access and support security-related procedures for personnel, deliveries, and contractors.

* Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.

* Prepare clear, timely reports on security-related incidents, unusual activity, and/or policy violations, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

* Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

* Customer service experience is preferred.

* At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
