Position Purpose
* The Security Officer is responsible for the security of hospital employees, patients/families, visitors, and property.
As a Security Officer you will:
* Be responsible for fire prevention and initial response measures.
* Maintains safety practices in the area of his/her assignment.
* Have oversight of the SOC (Security Operations Center)
* Handle Duties associated with the Operation of Metal Detector and Wanding
* Other Duties as directed by the supervisor
Minimum Qualifications:
* HS graduate or equivalent required
* 1-year previous security experience required
* 1 year of hospital-based experience highly preferred.
* Valid driver's license required.
* Clean Driving Record Required
* Fingerprints and Child Abuse Clearance once hired.
