Security Services Supervisor

Cross Keys Village – The Brethren Home Community (CKV) is seeking a committed Security Supervisor to join our team. In this key position, you’ll play an essential role in maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for our residents, villagers, and team members through reliable security leadership. At CKV, you’ll be part of a collaborative, mission‑driven workplace rooted in Christian values, where compassion, service, and community guide everything we do.

Full‑time position: Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Flexibility is required for occasional evening, night, and weekend coverage as needed.

Salary range: $44,000–$59,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.

Role as a Security Services Supervisor

As the Security Services Supervisor, your scope of responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Department Supervision
  • Establishing and enforcing standards for professional appearance, conduct, communication, and customer service to ensure the Security Services team reflects the organization’s mission and values
  • Supervising the day‑to‑day operations of Security Services team
  • Preparing and approving team member schedules
  • Coordinating with other departments for special event needs such as extra security coverage, placing of traffic control devices, etc.
  • Preparing and conducting annual evaluations for Security team members
  • Reviewing and following up on security log reports and distribute accordingly
  • Managing Security reporting application
  • Tracking first‑aid/CPR training certifications for all Security team members
  • Training Security team to maintain compliance with policies
  • Alerting and advising Director of Safety and Security of any safety concerns
Operational Duties
  • Ensuring and conducting effective vehicle and foot patrols throughout campus and responding to villager or team member assistance calls
  • Ensuring security video monitoring system and door access management applications are functional and operating properly. Working with Facility Maintenance and Information Services to address any issues that may arise
  • Maintaining badge access system for all team members, visitors, vendors, and contractors
  • Responding to villager assistance calls and assisting with EMS responders as necessary
  • Scheduling and conducting periodic training for security team members, implementing best security practices and communication protocols
  • Scheduling department orientation for new team members and cross training
  • Assisting the Director of Safety and Security with disaster drills and emergency preparedness assessments, education and training
  • Supporting local and state law enforcement agencies as needed with investigations, including but not limited to providing security report information, security video upon request and testimony as needed
