Title: Security Officer, Access Control and Patrol

Location: Watsontown, PA

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 11:30 PM – 07:30 AM
• Tue: 11:30 PM – 07:30 AM
• Wed: 11:30 PM – 07:30 AM
• Thu: 11:30 PM – 07:30 AM
• Fri: 11:30 PM – 07:30 AM

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity for authorized personnel, visitors, vendors, and deliveries in accordance with site protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting unusual activity, unsecured access points, and conditions that may require follow‑up.
• Support retail operations by documenting daily activity, verifying credentials when required, and assisting with security-related concerns involving customers, staff, and merchandise areas.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control / Badge experience.
• Alarm panel experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
