Security Officer Patrol Response

As a Part‑Time Security Officer you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution. In this role you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to deter incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service.

Part Time

$17.50 / Hour

• Wednesday: 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Thursday: 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points for personnel, visitors, and/or delivery traffic, verifying access permissions and following post orders related to site movement and restricted areas.
• Support daily operations by observing trailer yards, dock areas, and high‑traffic locations, communicating with site contacts as needed, and completing required activity logs and incident reports.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
