KRE Security, LLC is seeking professional Armed School Security Officers to join our team for the 2026–2027 school year, beginning Fall 2026.

Location:

Lehighton, PA | Full-time | Starting Fall 2026

Pay: $23.00 per hour. Overtime paid after 40 hours. Military & Retired Law Enforcement Differential (+$0.25/hour). Full-time benefits eligibility at 30+ hours per week. Paid Time Off: 24 hours accrued after successful completion of probation.

Schedule:

Monday–Friday | 7:15 AM - 2:30 PM. No nights or weekends. Summer employment opportunities may be available based on performance and operational needs.

• Maintain a visible armed security presence throughout the school campus
• Conduct interior and exterior patrols of school property
• Monitor entrances and verify all visitors
• Enforce school safety policies and emergency procedures
• Respond professionally to emergencies and security incidents
• Complete detailed daily activity logs and incident reports
• Work closely with school administration and local law enforcement
• Help maintain a safe and secure learning environment for students and staff

• Act 235 Certification (Required)
• High School Diploma or GED (Required)
• Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Background Check
• Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance
• FBI Fingerprint Clearance
• Reliable transportation
