Community Patrol Officer (Unarmed)
Location:
Tannersville, PA
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
Shifts may vary; however, typical coverage includes:
* Friday: 4:00 PM - 4:00 AM
* Saturday: 9:00 PM - 4:00 AM
* Sunday: 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM
* Tuesday: 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM
* Wednesday 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM
* Thursday 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM
About the Role
We are hiring dependable and observant Community Patrol Officers to help maintain a safe and secure environment for residents and visitors. This position focuses on proactive patrol, visibility, and responsive service within the community.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct mobile and foot patrols throughout the community
* Monitor for suspicious activity, safety hazards, and rule violations
* Respond to incidents, alarms, and disturbances
* Maintain accurate daily activity and incident reports
* Assist residents and visitors with questions or concerns
* Monitor access points and verify identification when needed
* Enforce community policies professionally and consistently
* Operate patrol vehicles safely and perform routine checks
* Coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary
Qualifications
* Clean driving record (required) for a minimum of 3 years
* Strong observation and decision-making skills
* Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in emergencies
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Professional appearance and courteous demeanor
* Ability to walk/stand for extended periods
Preferred (not required):
* Security, community patrol, or law enforcement experience
* First Aid/CPR certification
* Security guard license
