Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a busy Distribution Center, where you will monitor entry points, verify access, and support security-related procedures with professionalism and care. You will remain visible, conduct routine activity throughout assigned areas, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and store personnel by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and support approved access for employees, vendors, contractors, and/or deliveries.

+ Verify identification, visitor logs, and/or delivery information in accordance with location procedures, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to site leadership.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with crowd flow, lost persons, and other security-related concerns common to a retail location.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing access points, public areas, and parking locations for security-related issues.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
