KRE Security, LLC is hiring professional, dependable ACT 235-certified Armed Security Officers for a school district assignment in Perry County. In this role, you will help maintain a safe, welcoming environment while building positive relationships with students, staff, and families.

• Starting pay: $22.00 per hour
• Additional $0.25 per hour for military veterans and active‑duty service members
• Overtime paid for hours worked over 40 per week in accordance with applicable law
• Academic-year schedule beginning September 2026
• Health benefits available to eligible full‑time employees averaging 30+ hours per week after 90 days
• Up to 40 hours of paid time off, with accrual beginning after completion of the probationary period
• Company vehicle provided while working
• Opportunities to earn additional hours at after‑school events

• Maintain a visible, professional armed security presence
• Patrol school property and monitor entrances, access points, and surrounding areas
• Identify and report safety or security concerns
• Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies
• Enforce district policies, post orders, and site procedures
• Complete accurate daily activity and incident reports using Belfry Software
• Communicate effectively with school personnel, supervisors, and fellow officers
• Build respectful, professional relationships with students, staff, and families

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Current Pennsylvania ACT 235 certification and valid concealed carry permit
• Level II or Level III retention holster
• Must obtain KRE’s in‑house Phazzer certification
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the client site
• Strong communication, observation, and problem‑solving skills
• Dependable, punctual, and professional in appearance and conduct
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and work in various environments
• Flexible availability for occasional after‑school events
• Previous security, military, law enforcement, or school‑security experience is preferred but not required
• Must attend an in‑person orientation before being scheduled
