As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify access, monitor activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and vendors while supporting a welcoming environment.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.

+ Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor sign-in processes, and control access to authorized areas in accordance with site procedures.

+ Observe incoming and outgoing deliveries, coordinate with designated site contacts, and report unusual activity, access concerns, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency and reporting procedures.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, facility areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

* + At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
