Security Officer Armed

Allied Universal seeks an Armed Security Officer for a government complex. This role protects people, property, and sensitive areas through vigilant access control, patrols, and incident response in a structured, professional environment. Responsibilities include monitoring entrances, verifying IDs, screening visitors and vehicles, and enforcing site rules. The officer will respond to alarms and emergencies, coordinate with public safety partners, document incidents, and use CCTV and access control systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide armed security and access control at a government complex in compliance with ACT
  235 requirements
• Monitor entrances, perform s, and screen visitors, vehicles, and packages
• Conduct patrols of interior and exterior areas to deter and detect suspicious activity or safety hazards
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies, following post orders and escalation procedures
• Complete clear, accurate incident and activity reports and maintain detailed security logs
• Operate security technology such as CCTV, access control, and communication systems
• Enforce facility rules, regulations, and applicable laws while maintaining a professional presence
• Coordinate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and site management as needed
• Support safety protocols including evacuations, crowd control, and incident containment
• Participate in ongoing training, drills, and credential renewals to maintain readiness
