Responsibilities for Service Technician

• Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and accurately
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems (engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.)
• Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Communicate effectively with the Service Advisor regarding additional repairs and estimated time for completion
• Execute repairs under warranty and follow manufacturer specifications
• Maintain a clean and safe work area

Qualifications for Service Technician

• Ford Certification
• ASE Certification preferred
• Minimum 2+ years of Service Technician experience (Ford dealership experience preferred)
• B-Level qualifications including diagnostics, electrical, and engine repair
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to operate diagnostic and electronic equipment
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Basic computer literacy
• Positive, team-oriented attitude
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
