** About the opportunity:
** We are looking for a mechanically minded operator who has ideally worked in a quarry or similar environment before. You hold safety as a core value and appreciate the need for keeping the   workplace safe.

This key position involves the operation of fixed and mobile quarrying machinery and equipment, general labouring, operating a ball mill/drier, bagging of sands and other associated functions to achieve production output and loading of delivery vehicles to meet sales demand.

You will conduct daily prestart inspections on various plant and equipment, identify problems and machine faults - ensuring these are reported and rectified to assist the site in maintaining a consistent and safe operation at all times.

* ● Experience with Front end loader operations (preferred not essential)   
● Dump truck operation experience (preferred not essential).

● Plant operation and basic maintenance experience in a related industry (ideal).

● Must be flexible and willing to work across all facets of quarry activities.

● Must be prepared to work overtime.

● Strong communications ability
