Delaware County Community College (DCCC), located outside of the Philadelphia Metro area, is looking for a talented and dynamic Adjunct Instructor to join our team of faculty who are committed to student success.  Adjunct Instructor who subscribes to the notion of meeting students where they are, DCCC has a place for you!

The College is seeking experienced craftsmen and technicians to teach a variety of skilled trade classes.  Essential Duties

Successful candidates will be required to teach morning, afternoon, or evening classes, weekday and/or weekends.  They are required to teach both lecture (theory) and lab (practical applications) classes in the following:

* Electrical

* Residential Wiring

* Carpentry

* Home Repairs

* Home Remodeling

* Automotive Technology

* Car Repairs

* HVAC

* Home & Commercial HVAC

The successful candidate will:

* have a minimum of five (5) years of on-the-job experience in their discipline      Required

* have prior formal teaching experience at the secondary and/or post-secondary level     Preferred

* have

* high school diploma, technical/trade school and/or approved apprenticeship certificate      Required

* Associate Degree       Preferred

* have current industry certifications

* be able to demonstrate competencies in:

* Automotive Technology

* Electrical:

* installing, maintaining, or repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and lighting systems

* troubleshooting electrical problems

* following National Electric Code

* Carpentry:

* Introduction to Basic Floor Systems

* Introduction to Roofing and Siding

* Drywall installation and finishing

* Trim, windows, and door installation

* Plumbing:

* Residential Plumbing Services

* Faucets & Fixture Systems

* Drains & Sewers

* Hot Water Production

Background Clearances:
Act 153 Clearances (Act 34 PA Criminal Background History, Act 151 PA Child Abuse History, Act 114 FBI Clearance);
