Lead Mechanic

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mechanics and a proven track record of leading a team of mechanics to success. As a Lead Mechanic, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of a variety of vehicles and equipment.

Responsibilities:

- Lead a team of mechanics to ensure all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard

- Diagnose and repair a variety of vehicles and equipment

- Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment

- Ensure all work is completed in a timely manner

- Maintain accurate records of all work completed

- Order and maintain inventory of parts and supplies

- Train and mentor junior mechanics

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a mechanic

- Strong leadership skills

- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Strong attention to detail

- Excellent communication skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Valid driver's license

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $40.00 - $45.00 (hourly/yearly) at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Minimum Education and Experience

• Must have High School Diploma or Equivalent, Trade School preferred
• Minimum 3 + Years’ Experience in Automotive, Fleet or Transportation Industry
• Commercial Driver’s License Preferred

Compensation details: 40-45 Hourly Wage
