Automotive Diesel Technician

Position: Automotive Diesel Technician ($10000 SIGN ON BONUS)
Location: McKees Rocks

Job Summary:

Diehl CDJR of Robinson is seeking an experienced Automotive Diesel Technician to join our team in McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $90,000 PLUS per year, paid biweekly. As an individual contributor, the Diesel Technician will be responsible for performing skilled labor and contracting work in the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engines and be able to diagnose and repair any issues that may arise.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance on diesel engines
- Diagnose and repair diesel engine issues
- Perform engine rebuilds and overhauls
- Conduct quality checks to ensure repairs are completed accurately and efficiently
- Keep accurate and detailed records of work performed
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology and training in the diesel industry

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as an Automotive Diesel Technician
- Proven experience with diesel engine diagnostics and repairs
- ASE or equivalent certifications preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Must have own tools
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Bonus

-Sign on bonus determined at the time of hire by training qualifications and experience

-Bonus paid out monthly installments in a one year period
