Description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Carpenters for projects located in the Selinsgrove, PA area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $26-32/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Carpenter and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!
Job Scope:
* Construct the skeleton of a building, including floors (joists), walls (studs), and complex roof systems (rafters and trusses)
* Interpret advanced architectural drawings, site coordinates, and building specifications to ensure accurate layout and execution
* Use advanced tools like laser levels, transits, and total stations to establish building lines, verify trueness (plumb and level), and set coordinates
* Construct and install complex forms for concrete foundations, walls, columns, and elevated parking decks
* Design and build freestanding, circular, or winding stairs while adhering to strict safety codes for rise and run
* High-precision installation of crown molding, baseboards, door/window casings, and custom cabinetry
