Salary Range: $35.00 To $40.00 Hourly

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Vac Truck Operator to execute hydro‑excavation projects efficiently. This role involves performing utility‑line exposure, debris removal, slot trenching, and digging while ensuring strict adherence to safety standards and promoting a positive, high‑quality work culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Core Operations & Field Work:
  • Safely and accurately execute tasks according to project scope.
  • Perform specialized hydro and air excavation activities.
  • Interpret blueprints to guide precise on‑site digging and line exposure.
  • Manage the loading and unloading of trucks for site readiness.
  • Provide manual labor support as required to ensure successful project completion.
• Site & Asset Maintenance:
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard‑free work area.
  • Ensure all company property, including trucks and trailers, is kept orderly and free of clutter.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Licensing & Certification:
  • Must possess or obtain a CDL B license with a Tanker Endorsement from the Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). of a Vac Truck Operator certification through a third party (e.g., a union or previous employer) or via in‑house programs.
  • OSHA 10 certification.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Physical Strength: Ability to lift 50 pounds at a time.
• Mobility & Field Work: Must be able to traverse and inspect all areas of a jobsite in all types of weather; this includes walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, or stretching.
• Hazard Awareness: Must maintain constant situational awareness regarding standard construction‑site dangers.
