Ground Hand​/Laborer

Job Position

This position will work with crews performing work in the telecommunications field. Essential functions and responsibilities include performing routine construction related activities, organizing materials, setting up traffic control signs, flagging and directing traffic, completing daily equipment safety inspections, accurately completing all required company documentation, performing work in a safe manner, and performing other duties as assigned. Knowledge, skills, and abilities include working efficiently, independently, and collaboratively within a team environment, capable of moving materials/equipment weighing up to 80 pounds, and must be reliable, responsible, and dependable with work attendance.

Required education and experience include a high school diploma or equivalent certification and at least two years' of driving experience. Preferred education and experience include two years' of construction experience. Physical demands include balancing, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, grasping, reaching, stooping, squatting, kneeling, climbing, hearing, and talking. Working conditions include exposure to adverse environmental conditions when working outdoors.

Travel may include traveling to projects in different cities and may involve frequent overnight stays (company pays hotel expense).
