HVAC Mechanic

Provides skilled services on all shifts in the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related equipment. Responsible for electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting involved in maintenance, minor construction, and remodeling projects. Performs routine equipment room checks and conducts routine preventive maintenance functions. Handles work requests and responds to emergencies on various mechanical and electrical support systems.

Receives general direction from mechanical, electrical, and carpentry supervisors as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related equipment.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting tasks involved in maintenance, minor construction, and remodeling projects.
• Conduct routine equipment room checks and perform preventive maintenance functions.
• Handle work requests and respond to emergencies on various mechanical and electrical support systems.

Work Environment

Work on the first shift from 7am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday. After four months, participate in an on-call rotation for one week every six weeks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jersey Shore, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.69 - $31.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
