Are you the problem-solver others call when production stops?
If you thrive on finding the fault, stabilizing the process, and documenting the fix, this role is built for you. You'll support the entire facility by ensuring electrical and control systems run safely, efficiently, and reliably in a high-speed manufacturing setting.
You will
Hit performance goals across safety, quality, production, efficiency, and service
Comply with safety policies, regulatory standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment
Read, interpret, and draft wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
Support power and control circuits plus pneumatics, hydraulics, and pressure/temperature controls
Program and troubleshoot PLCs using ladder and basic logic
Perform simple analog/digital circuit design and configure microprocessor-based systems
Install, maintain, and repair conduit, wiring, and electrical devices
Connect machinery to power supplies accurately and safely
Lead root-cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions
Maintain precise records: work orders, downtime/breakdown reports, and modification logs Update schematics to match system changes
Plan wiring layouts for new equipment and retrofits
Assemble and test electrical components before installation
Diagnose atypical electrical faults, including power-quality issues
You haveA high school diploma or equivalent
At least 5 years of experience repairing industrial electrical equipment or machinery, or equivalent education/training
Expertise reading and creating schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints
Hands-on PLC programming with ladder/basic logic
In-depth knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
Advanced knowledge of electrical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and instrumentation
Solid understanding of industrial control systems and related mechanical concepts
Experience working with microprocessor hardware/software configurations
Ability to execute basic analog and digital circuit design
Strong analytical troubleshooting skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Good visual acuity with accurate color differentiation
