Summary:
Responsible for safe and efficient repair and
maintenance of automated storage and material handling equipment and sawing machinery at customer’s premises.
Key
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on automated storage, material handling, and sawing equipment at customer sites
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-related issues and carry out repairs using appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment
- Install, replace, and adjust components including motors, wiring, valves, hoses, gauges, and electronic controls
- Read technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to plan and complete repair work efficiently
- Complete service documentation, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and follow all OSHA, LOTO, quality, and company safety procedures
- Complete service reports, document repairs, and maintain accurate maintenance records
- Support customer satisfaction through professional service and occasional travel to other customer sites as required
What you bring with you
- High school diploma/GED with technical training or equivalent industrial maintenance experience
- Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, including PLCs, multimeters, and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, safety procedures, and maintenance documentation
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and basic mathematical skills
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs., work at heights, around moving machinery, and in industrial environments with electrical hazards and high noise levels
- Willingness to work Saturdays, overtime, and participate in an on-call rotation after qualification
- Ability to perform the physical demands of the role, including standing, climbing, kneeling, lifting, and other manual tasks
