Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support the operation, maintenance, and repair of facility and production equipment in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, responding to repair requests, and ensuring equipment and support systems operate safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate is hands-on, mechanically inclined, and capable of working independently while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive maintenance on facility and production equipment
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems as needed.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance calls and complete assigned repair work.
  • Conduct routine safety inspections throughout the facility and address any identified concerns.
  • Perform minor building maintenance, including drywall, painting, and basic electrical repairs.
  • Minimize equipment downtime by completing scheduled maintenance and resolving equipment malfunctions efficiently.
  • Assist with parts fabrication, repairs, and rebuilding of equipment components.
  • Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and assist with ordering replacement parts and materials.
  • Train production personnel on proper equipment operation and basic maintenance practices.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while following all safety regulations and procedures.

Qualifications &

Preferred Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Technical training or certification in industrial maintenance, maintenance technology, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar manufacturing, industrial, or production maintenance role.
  • Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance programs, equipment repair, and mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, plumbing, and compressed air systems.
  • Electrical and/or welding experience preferred.
  • Experience rebuilding equipment, fabricating parts, and supporting production operations.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles, 5S methodology, continuous improvement initiatives, and root cause analysis.
  • Exposure to robotics and automation is a plus.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
