Assist field crew leaders in performing day-to-day field work.

• Learn to operate survey and SUE equipment
• Assist crew leaders in the performance of daily tasks

• Perform other related duties as assigned

Compensation for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hour, commensurate with experience, education and certifications. The provided range is a good faith estimate based on the requirements described within the job description. • Must successfully complete and pass JMT's Motor Vehicle screening
• Valid Driver's License Required
• Able to pass Background Check
• Able to work 7:00 am - 4:00 pm Monday - Friday (Minimum)
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Able to bend, kneel, lift and carry up to 50 lbs as needed

• Ability to travel required

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Knowledge in field surveying techniques, including data collection, traverse establishment, GNSS surveys, and construction stakeouts

Field work is required 95% of the time, where work may be conducted outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. Out of town travel is possible up to 40% of the time. Some lifting (up to 50 lbs) may be required as needed. Some travel required. Some night shift work required.
