Concrete Laborer

This role involves performing a variety of hands-on tasks to support the production of concrete panels in a large manufacturing plant. You will pour, cast, finish, strip, and clean concrete forms while working with hand and power tools in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.

• Work in the plant to pour, cast, and finish concrete panels according to production requirements and quality standards.
• Strip concrete panels from forms once the concrete has properly cured, ensuring safe handling and minimal damage.
• Clean concrete forms thoroughly after panels are stripped and before they are reused, maintaining a clean and organized work area.
• Assist with moving cured panels to the yard and support general yard activities as needed.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to support concrete production and finishing tasks.
• Support set-up activities for concrete forms and production lines, including positioning rebar, blockouts, and related components.
• Perform general labor duties such as lifting, carrying, bending, and climbing repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Follow all safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment while working in a wet, dirty, and variable-temperature environment.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules and maintain consistent product quality.
• Work flexible hours, including different shifts and weekends, based on department and production needs.

• Prior experience in concrete, manual labor, or landscaping.
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds when needed.
• Ability to lift, bend, and climb repeatedly during the shift.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools in a construction, production, or similar environment.
• Experience in concrete, general labor, production, landscaping, construction, or concrete finishing.
• Ability to work safely and effectively in a physically demanding and dirty environment.

• Prior concrete pouring experience is preferred.
• Yard experience is helpful.
• Experience with construction set-up, carpentry, rebar work, and concrete construction is beneficial.
• Familiarity with production environments and finishing work is an advantage.

This is a contract position based out of Mahanoy City, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50/hr.
