Service Technician

About the Role

As a Service Technician, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional service and reliable door solutions to our customers. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade a variety of sliding, swinging, and rotating doors while ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.

• Perform planned maintenance, break‑fix repair, and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors at customer locations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues involving electro‑mechanical devices, electrical circuits, and relay logic.
• Work with aluminum frames, glazing materials, hardware, and low‑voltage wiring.
• Maintain professional communication with customers, end‑users, and contractors, providing exceptional service at every interaction.
• Participate in training programs and maintain AAADM certification.
• Operate power tools and perform physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 100 lbs, climbing ladders, kneeling).
• Participate in on‑call rotations after certification and training.

• Mechanical aptitude with experience in repairing electro‑mechanical devices.
• Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low‑voltage (120V) wiring (access control systems a plus).
• Experience in glazing, storefronts, aluminum frames, and hardware (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• High commitment to safety, customer satisfaction, and teamwork.
• Ability to lift, bend, and use power tools effectively.

Compensation: $25–$40 per hour, based on education, experience, skill level and other qualifications.

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must successfully obtain AAADM certification within one (1) year of employment and maintain certification as required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
