Construction Site Supervisor

Technivate® incorporates state‑of‑the‑art technology with excavation and site development solutions. We are accepting applications for a Construction Site Supervisor. The position will be offered to the most qualified candidate to lead our team(s). The candidate must have at least 5 years of construction management/supervisory experience with real‑time field experience in site development, heavy equipment and general construction.

The successful candidate should have experience operating skid steer, wheel loader, bulldozers, track excavator, and front‑end loaders. Operators must perform pre‑trip and post‑trip safety inspections and ensure proper care and maintenance of equipment and supplies. The candidate must be able to operate heavy equipment. Preference for 2 years experience, but willing to train the right candidate. Knowledge of basic vehicle inspection and maintenance including tire pressure, oil, and water levels.

Ability to read, understand, follow and enforce safety procedures.

Work involves constant exposure to extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and loud noises. Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work: heavy lifting, pushing or pulling objects over 50 pounds.

Additional responsibilities:

• Performs repairs on all types of heavy equipment
• Operates equipment to diagnose problems and inspect equipment for defects
• Assists supervisors and co‑workers with a variety of mechanic and related tasks as necessary
• Must be aware of safety precautions and understand safety and occupational hazards of work
• Must understand and follow service manual
• Orders parts and properly completes part requisition forms
• Writes thorough repair summaries
• Trains other personnel as needed
• Performs other duties per supervisor's discretion
• Performs routine inspections, including preventive maintenance

• Performs a variety of duties related to the field work of our company
• Measures distances from grade stakes, drives stakes, and stretches tight line
• Bolts, nails, aligns, and blocks up under forms
• Signals operators of construction equipment to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery to conform to grade specifications
• Levels earth to fine grade specifications using a shovel or pick
• Smooths and finishes freshly poured cement or concrete using float, trowel, or screed
• Positions, joins, aligns, and seals pipe sections
• Erects shoring and braces
• Mops, brushes, or spreads paints or bituminous compounds over surfaces for protection
• Applies caulking compounds by hand or with caulking gun to seal crevices
• Performs variety of tasks involving dextrous use of hand and tools, such as sawing lumber, dismantling forms, removing projections from concrete, mounting pipe hangers, and cutting and attaching insulating material
• May control traffic
• Prepares soil for seeding
• Performs other duties and tasks as assigned
