Low-Voltage Service Technician

Salary: $25 – $40 per hour (some locations up to $40 per hour). Overtime: 1.5x standard, double time on Sundays and holidays; some branches offer on‑call bonus plans.

Our teams install, repair, and maintain critical systems such as overhead doors, loading docks, gates, grilles, and access control systems that keep operations running safely and efficiently.

• Running, terminating, and testing wiring (Cat6, coax, fiber, etc.)
• Installing and servicing fire alarm, CCTV/security, access control, low‑voltage electrical systems, and doors/gates (location dependent)
• Reading blueprints and schematics
• Troubleshooting issues and restoring systems online
• Testing panels and devices
• Ensuring installs are clean, safe, and up to code
• Communicating with customers on‑site

2–3+ years (ideally more) of experience in:

• Low voltage
• Electrical
• Fire alarm
• Security systems
• Or a similar hands‑on trade
• Ability to work independently and on a team
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Valid driver’s license

• Fire alarm experience (NICET is a plus)
• Fiber or advanced wiring experience
• Overhead door or gate system experience (especially in Ohio)
• OSHA 10 or 30

• $25–$35/hour (some locations up to $40/hour depending on experience)
