Experienced Marine Service Technician
The Boat Shop in Tafton, Pennsylvania, is seeking an experienced Marine Service Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities- Diagnose, repair, and maintain boats, engines, and marine systems
- Perform routine maintenance, winterization, and seasonal services
- Complete repairs accurately and efficiently
- Document work performed on repair orders
- Communicate with the service manager regarding repair needs and timelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all company and safety procedures
- Previous marine technician experience required
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
- Experience with inboard, outboard, and sterndrive systems preferred
- Familiarity with Yamaha, Volvo Penta, Mer Cruiser, Indmar, or similar brands is a plus
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be dependable, professional, and able to work well with a team
- Marine certifications are preferred but not required
