maintenance mechanic opening in linwood pa. We are looking for a day shift maintenance mechanic here. Looking for someone stronger on the mechanical side but also with electrical experience like plcs, vfds, 480v.
hours are 6am-230pm mon-fri
pays: $30-$35 hourly
maintenance technician position summarythe maintenance technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment and facility systems to minimize downtime and support safe, efficient operations.
responsibilities- perform preventive maintenance on production equipment.
- troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and facility equipment.
- respond to equipment breakdowns and complete assigned maintenance requests.
- perform basic facility repairs, including drywall, painting, lighting, and plumbing/compressed air systems.
- conduct safety inspections and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- support inventory of maintenance parts and continuous improvement initiatives.
- follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- basic electrical, plumbing, and compressed air knowledge; welding is a plus.
- experience with preventive maintenance, lean/5s, and root cause analysis preferred.
- high school diploma or ged required.
