Electrical Maintenance Technician
This role supports a high-speed envelope manufacturing and printing facility that operates 24/7 and produces billions of custom envelopes annually for direct mail and corporate mailing customers. The Electrical Maintenance Technician maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs industrial production equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the plant's high-speed machinery.
Responsibilities- Support machinery mechanics in the production area by diagnosing and resolving issues on high-speed production equipment.
- Troubleshoot programmable logic controller (PLC) faults and related control issues to minimize downtime.
- Perform electrical repairs and preventive maintenance on active production machinery and associated systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical documentation to plan and execute repairs and installations.
- Work with 3-phase, 480-volt and 24-volt electrical systems in a safe and compliant manner.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, components, and control devices on industrial equipment.
- Perform electrical troubleshooting on automation systems, PLC controls, and related electrical circuits.
- Collaborate closely with mechanical technicians to diagnose and resolve combined electrical and mechanical issues on high-speed machines.
- Support maintenance activities on hydraulic and pneumatic systems associated with production equipment.
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to improve equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.
- Document work performed, including repairs, adjustments, and parts used, in accordance with facility maintenance practices.
- Assist in commissioning, servicing, and optimizing industrial automation and control systems as needed.
- Minimum of 3 years of prior electrician or electrical maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair high-speed industrial machinery and automation equipment.
- Proven capability to diagnose and troubleshoot PLC systems in partnership with mechanical technicians.
- Hands-on experience with PLC troubleshooting and PLC controls in a production setting.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including work on 3-phase, 480-volt and 24-volt systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical drawings (blueprint experience is required).
- Experience performing electrical maintenance, preventive maintenance, and repair on industrial equipment.
- Working knowledge of electrical wiring, installation, and maintenance repair practices.
- Familiarity with hydraulics and pneumatics as they relate to industrial machinery.
- Ability to work safely around energized equipment and adhere to electrical safety procedures.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with mechanics and other maintenance personnel.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with high-speed industrial electrical and mechanical machines in a manufacturing environment.
- Background in automation systems and industrial controls.
- Experience with PLC programming in addition to PLC troubleshooting.
- Service and field-style troubleshooting experience on complex industrial equipment.
- Ability to take on a lead role within a union environment, demonstrating strong technical credibility and leadership among peers.
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including potential 12-hour day or night shifts, based on operational needs.

This is a Permanent position based out of Mount Pocono, PA.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $66331.00 - $66331.00/yr. Weekly insurance deductions for the Union members (medical, dental and vision). We pay fully for Life Insurance and Short Term Disability. Union premiums.

This is a fully onsite position in Mount Pocono, PA.
