Responsibilities

+ Assemble and wire electrical control panels according to project specifications, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

+ Install components such as relays, switches, circuit breakers, PLCs, HMIs, and other devices into control panels.

+ Inspect wiring and components for accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

+ Identify and troubleshoot issues that arise during panel assembly.

+ Collaborate with engineers and project managers to confirm control panels meet design specifications and project requirements.

+ Mentor less experienced technicians through hands-on support and best-practice guidance to build skills and ensure quality workmanship.

+ Maintain accurate records of wiring configurations, components used, and assembly modifications.

+ Adhere to all electrical safety standards and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.

+ Keep workstations, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and in good working order.

Requirements

+ High school diploma or equivalent.

+ Technical certification or training in electrical systems or control panel wiring preferred.

+ At least 2 years of experience in control panel assembly, wiring, or a related field.

+ Skilled in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.

+ Solid understanding of electrical components, wiring techniques, and safety protocols.

+ Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing instruments.

+ Experience installing and wiring PLCs and HMIs.
