Maintenance Tech II

DICK'S Sporting Goods Distribution Center seeks a Maintenance Tech II to keep our high-volume wholesale distribution facility running safely and efficiently. In this role, you'll perform preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyors, material-handling equipment, forklifts, and building systems to minimize downtime and support on-time order fulfillment. You'll troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, document work in a CMMS, and partner closely with operations in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment that offers training, advancement, and strong team culture.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyors, material handling equipment, forklifts, and facility systems
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime
• Use a CMMS to document work orders, parts usage, and maintenance history
• Inspect equipment regularly, identifying and escalating safety or reliability concerns
• Support installations, upgrades, and repairs of new or existing equipment
• Follow all safety, lockout/tagout, and company policies in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to prioritize maintenance activities
• Assist with parts inventory, ordering, and organization for maintenance supplies
