Groundsperson

The H&K Group is seeking 1st & 2nd Shift Groundspersons to support heavy civil construction and materials operations. In this hands-on role, you will perform general site labor, groundskeeping, cleanup, and basic equipment support around quarries, plants, and construction sites. Responsibilities include maintaining safe, clean work areas; shoveling and sweeping; assisting operators with setup and material handling; performing basic inspections; and following strict safety and environmental procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform general groundskeeping and site cleanup around plants and construction areas
• Support equipment operators with setup, material handling, and basic labor
• Maintain safe, clean work areas by shoveling, sweeping, and debris removal
• Assist with basic inspections and routine maintenance tasks as directed
• Follow all safety, environmental, and company procedures and reporting protocols
• Work effectively across 1st or 2nd shift in varying weather and site conditions
