Small Tools Mechanic

The H&K Group is seeking a Small Tools Mechanic to maintain and repair a variety of construction small tools and equipment. In this role, you will inspect, diagnose, and service power tools, compressors, generators, compactors, and related equipment to ensure safe, reliable operation on construction projects. Responsibilities include performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, maintaining accurate repair records, and supporting field crews with timely equipment turnaround.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair construction small tools and equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance on power tools, generators, compressors, and compactors
• Troubleshoot basic mechanical and electrical issues
• Maintain accurate service, repair, and parts usage records
• Ensure all tools meet company and safety standards
• Prioritize and complete work orders to minimize equipment downtime
• Communicate equipment status and needs with supervisors and field crews
• Assist with inventory, ordering, and organization of parts and supplies
