Construction Equipment Field Technician

Cleveland Brothers, the largest Cat dealer in Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia and western Maryland, has an immediate opportunity for a Construction Equipment Field Technician
.

Position Summary:

Cleveland Brothers Caterpillar is seeking highly skilled Diesel Technicians for field positions working on large mining and construction equipment as well as other supporting equipment.

The focus of this position will be to provide mechanical repairs on a mine site in the Hazelton, PA area.

Cleveland Brothers will provide the necessary training and specialty tools to be successful as a technician working for the largest equipment company in Pennsylvania.

• Diagnose and repair equipment independently and successfully.
• Overhaul engines and other major components.
• Work on heavy equipment with relevant experience.
• Apply knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electronics.
• Demonstrate intermediate computer skills.
• Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills.

As a Field Mechanic / Technician you are required to work in an industrial environment with exposure to significant environmental conditions.

Physical requirements include:

• Overall stamina; sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing.
• Carrying, grasping, reaching, stooping and crouching.
• Listening and speaking; good motor coordination; coordination of eyes, hands, and feet.
• Verbal and numerical intelligence.
• Workplace environment includes exposure to noise, heat, cold, injury and atmospheric exposures.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Work overtime as needed.

This is a safety sensitive position.
