Buchanan Auto Stores is seeking a skilled Heavy Truck Mechanic to join our team in Waynesboro, PA. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy truck equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. • Inspect and repair heavy trucks and related equipment
• Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment
• Maintain accurate records of services and repairs performed
• Follow safety protocols and company policies at all times
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow

• Proven experience as a heavy truck mechanic or similar role
• Strong knowledge of heavy truck systems including engine, transmission, and braking
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
