Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Location: Morgantown
Job Summary
Troubleshoot and make repairs on all production equipment. This includes, but not limited to, injection molding machines, IML automation equipment, assembly lines, auxiliary equipment, and facility support systems. Maintenance technicians must be able to work on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems and are also responsible for performing all preventative maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities- Installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of all operating equipment
- Fix equipment and support equipment as assigned
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or programming issues with molding and all support equipment
- Install machines electrical, plumbing, and interface with all other systems
- Come up with solutions to issues and ways to improve machines
- Execute MIG and TIG welding
- Fabricate parts and components
- Read print schematics
- Understand PLC and RS Logic to test equipment and/or make adjustments
- Perform daily preventive maintenance tasks and maintain the appropriate paperwork
- Comply with safety regulations and established lean manufacturing principles
- Work with other mechanics, engineering, and manufacturing teams on continuous improvement projects
- Provide general facilities maintenance
- Follow applicable food safety and cGMP policies
- 5-7 years of manufacturing maintenance experience (preferred)
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work under limited supervision
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and welding (beneficial)
- Advanced technical training or applied experience with hydraulics, industrial electricity, electronics, and control systems (preferred)
- Computer experience (preferred)
- Good attendance required
- Sign‑on bonus up to $1,000.00
- Night shift – 12‑hour shift
- Pay up to $40.00 per hour based on experience
