Mechatronics Mechanic

Cargill is seeking a Mechatronics Mechanic to support automated manufacturing operations. In this role, you will inspect, troubleshoot, and repair complex mechatronic systems, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control components. You will perform preventive maintenance, calibrations, and equipment upgrades to maximize uptime and product quality. Partnering with engineers and operators, you'll drive continuous improvement while following strict safety and food manufacturing standards in a collaborative, learning-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechatronic equipment and automated production systems
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components
• Diagnose PLC, sensors, drives, and control issues to minimize downtime
• Calibrate, test, and validate system performance to meet quality and safety standards
• Document maintenance activities, parts usage, and equipment history in CMMSCollaborate with engineers and operators to improve reliability and process efficiency
• Follow and promote Cargill safety procedures, lockout/tagout, and regulatory compliance
• Assist with installation, commissioning, and upgrades of new machinery and automation
