We are seeking a skilled and safety‑conscious Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating excavators in deep trench and sewer environments.

• Operate heavy machinery including but not limited to excavators, bulldozers, skid steers, graders, and forklifts.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and work as part of a team to complete construction or demolition tasks.
• Conduct pre‑operation inspections and basic maintenance of machinery to ensure safety and performance.
• Monitor equipment during operation to identify issues and report any malfunctions or damage.
• Safely maneuver equipment around job sites while avoiding hazards and maintaining efficiency.
• Interpret blueprints, grade stakes, and site plans as needed.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with manual labor tasks when machinery is not in use.

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Proven experience operating heavy machinery in construction or industrial settings.
• Valid operator certifications and licenses, as required by state/local regulations.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to heavy equipment operation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, maps, and schematics.
• Good physical stamina and hand‑eye coordination.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and on rotating shifts or weekends, if required.
