Residential Maintenance Technician

Arbors Management Inc. seeks a Residential Maintenance Technician to support our apartment and affordable housing communities. This hands-on role is responsible for completing resident work orders, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC issues, and preparing units for move-in. You'll respond to maintenance emergencies, ensure safety and building code compliance, and maintain clean, functional common areas. Working closely with site managers and leasing staff, you'll deliver prompt, professional service that supports resident satisfaction and well-maintained properties.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders in a timely, professional manner
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC issues
• Prepare vacant units for move-in, including repairs and punch list work
• Respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies as assigned
• Maintain clean, safe, and functional common areas and building exteriors
• Document work performed and parts used in maintenance systems or logs
• Follow safety procedures and building codes to ensure compliance
• Collaborate with property managers and leasing staff to support resident satisfaction
