Heavy Equipment​/Diesel Truck Mechanic

Job Title: Heavy Equipment / Diesel Truck Mechanic
Location: Finleyville, PA
Type: Onsite – onsite
Compensation: $62,400.00 - $74,880.00
Work Model: Onsite

Responsibilities

• Perform Class 7 inspections on tractor trailer and light duty trucks.
• Diagnose and repair vehicles, trucks, heavy equipment, and accessories.
• Complete paperwork associated with repairs and inspections.
• Clean workstation and mechanic shop on a weekly basis.
• Complete miscellaneous projects assigned by the Mechanic Shop Manager.
• Ensure all tools are used and treated in a professional manner.
• Enforce and abide by all company policies and procedures.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering, or comparable experience.
• Knowledge of diesel engine components.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified above.
• CDL, Class A License is a plus.
• Excellent knowledge of vehicle and equipment repairs is required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Attention to detail is required.
