Summary

As an Entry Door Installer, you will be responsible for the professional installation, replacement, and servicing of residential entry door systems. This includes fiberglass, steel, wood, storm, and patio doors, as well as associated hardware, trim, and accessories. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and committed to delivering a quality installation experience.

Duties

• Install entry doors, storm doors, patio doors, and related products according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.
• Measure, prepare, and modify openings as needed to ensure proper fit and operation.
• Install hardware including locks, handle sets, closers, and weatherstripping.
• Ensure products are properly sealed, insulated, and adjusted for optimal performance.
• Educate customers on product operation, maintenance, and warranty information.
• Maintain inventory, tools, and equipment assigned to company vehicles.
• Complete all required paperwork, job documentation, and customer signoffs accurately.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment at all job sites and company facilities.
• Communicate professionally with customers, team members, and management throughout the installation process.
• Identify and report product, jobsite, or safety concerns promptly.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid Driver's License.
• 2+ years of experience installing entry doors, windows, garage doors, or related exterior building products.
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) to be added to company insurance.
• General construction and carpentry knowledge.
• Ability to safely use power tools, hand tools, ladders, and measuring equipment.
• Personal handheld tools.
• Current PA Medical DOT Certificate (or ability to obtain in a timely manner).
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening, including drug test and background check.
• Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse location.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with finish carpentry, trim work, and residential remodeling.
• OSHA 10 certification.
• First Aid and/or CPR certification.
• Strong understanding of construction techniques and building materials.
