Job Summary

The Housing Support Specialist is responsible to function in a direct service capacity as a member of the interdisciplinary team by providing housing support, training, and assistance to priority Office of Behavioral Health (OBH) consumers in the Permanent Supportive Housing Program in order to help them identify, secure and maintain affordable housing of their choice.

Alongside other team members, the Housing Support Specialist assists in ensuring that daily operations within the workgroup are consistent with TSI's mission statement and guiding principles as well as the agency's Psychiatric Rehabilitation Approach Mission statement and values.

Schedule:
Mon-Fri 8A-4P

$1000.00 Sign on Bonus

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work or other social service field plus 1 year of Mental Health, Residential or Human Service experience
  • OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. A degree is preferred.
  • This position requires strong time management and organizational skills
  • The ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • The ability to use core rehabilitation skills and the ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team.
  • The ability to perform basic computer data entry required.
