Part-Time Assistant Residence Life Coordinator

Position Overview

Responsible to the Assistant Director or Area Coordinator for the supervision and administration of a residence hall community and promoting a diversified residential program through a curricular approach.

• Assist resident assistants with the development, tracking, promotion, and implementation of programming.
• Administer daily operations and community development.
• Maintain effective relationships with campus partners.
• Handle staff selection, training, supervision, and evaluation.
• Provide student contact in areas of counseling, conflict mediation and resolution, crisis management, and discipline.
• Provide on‑call duty coverage on a rotating basis.

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience in residential life, student counseling, or a related field preferred.

• Part‑time: 20 hours per week with the possibility of up to 40 hours on occasion.
• On‑campus apartment provided while providing on‑call coverage.
• Position may be live‑on or live‑off based on availability.
• Start date is as soon as possible.
