General Description
The Well, a long-term residential restorative program for women 18 years and older in the tri-state area. This program offers a safe haven and care allowing women of any background a place to live where they can experience true healing.
The House Coach (Resident Support Staff) provides direct care, guidance, and supportive services to women participating in The Well, a long-term residential restorative program for survivors of human trafficking. This role is responsible for fostering a safe, structured, and trauma-informed living environment while supporting residents in developing independent living skills, achieving personal goals, and maintaining overall well-being.
Essential Job Functions
- Provide support services
- Transportation with a company vehicle to appointments
- Engage and work alongside participants to perform life skill tasks
- Administer pre-counted medications for day or weekend
- Complete shift notes at the end of shift
- Communicate to team members about issues that may arise
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, & Experience
Required:
- Certified Recovery Specialist or Certified Peer Specialist preferred.
- An Associate’ Degree in behavioral or social sciences, social work, counseling, or a related field is preferred. Alternatively, a high school diploma GED with two years of direct service experience or trauma-related work experience is also accepted.
- A valid driver's license.
- Baseline knowledge of trauma.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and empathy.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care
- Excellent time-management, organizational, and communication skills.
