Counselor I
The Counselor I supports clients recovering from substance use disorders, behavioral challenges, and co-occurring issues. This role includes providing assessments, facilitating groups, supporting treatment planning, and offering crisis intervention. Schedule must include availability for weekday and weekend coverage, which will be discussed during the interview. Key responsibilities include conducting client assessments and developing individualized treatment plans. Facilitating group and family sessions is also essential.
Documentation of client progress and updating care plans is required. The role includes providing crisis intervention and aftercare planning. Collaboration with referral sources, insurance, and care teams is necessary. Education will be delivered to clients, families, and the community.
