This full-time, contract opportunity seeks a flexible professional to serve as a floater, providing vital psychological services throughout the region. With evolving placement needs, youll enjoy dynamic experiences and meaningful impact, from evaluating students in the California Area School District to responding to requests across several districts.
Your adaptability and strong organizational skills will help address the changing needs of students and staff, ensuring quality support wherever youre needed.
- Travel to various districts within the Intermediate Unit 1 region, covering Fayette, Greene, and Washington counties
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations for students in diverse school settings
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to design and implement individualized support strategies
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and consultation as needed
- Maintain accurate, timely records and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Remain responsive to fluctuating district requests and caseloads
- Active Pennsylvania School Psychologist Educator Certificate required
- Demonstrable experience working within school systems, preferably across multiple campuses or districts
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to adapt quickly to new environments
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel frequently across assigned counties
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards and fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments
