COBOL Developer – Indiana

Must have

• Extensive experience in COBOL programming
• Proficiency with IDMS and JCL for IBM mainframe operating systems
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex application issues
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred)

• Develop and maintain software applications utilizing COBOL, IDMS, and JCL
• Collaborate with team members to define project requirements and specifications
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure functionality
• Document coding processes and system changes for future reference
• Provide technical support and training to users when necessary
• Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in software development
