Overview

Susquehanna International Group (SIG) is looking for a Quantitative Developer with strong Python and PyData skills to join our Options trading desk. Our Strategy Innovation group is a team of developers who are focused on implementing options strategies and building research tools to help optimize those strategies.

We work in a data-rich environment and were looking for someone who would be excited to work with our quantitative researchers and scientists to make sense of our data. This is an exciting opportunity to get an up-close understanding of the strategies and business decisions that drive SIG's success. You will build research tools, automate studies, and help us turn data into profit.

  • Work alongside our quantitative researchers to help make sense of SIG's vast data sets
  • Leverage the PyData stack (Python, Num Py, Pandas, etc.) to build applications/tools used in our research environment
  • Write, test, and optimize Python code to implement and improve trading algorithms, backtesting frameworks, and data processing pipelines
  • Identify performance bottlenecks in existing code and algorithms to ensure high efficiency and scalability
What we're looking for
  • At least 5+ years of experience within the PyData stack (Num Py, Pandas, Sci Py, etc.), ideally in a research-oriented environment
  • Strong background in data manipulation, data processing, and visualizations at a data-rich organization
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly to a wide range of stakeholders
  • Prior experience working with quants, researchers, or scientists is ideal
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related STEM field is required
  • Experience in an OOP language like C# is a plus
  • Previous experience working at a trading firm is helpful but not required
